air charge recovery times?

air charge recovery times?
Just curious you folks with aftermarket heat exchangers how long your car takes to calm down after a wot blast. I raced 2 bikes last night and did very well they were probably 600's id hope I was 9deg over ambient and when I lifted act was 146deg and the dropped to 120 fairly fast then hung there for a while several miles before starting to drop finally after about 12 mins of cruising it dropped back down to 59-60 deg and temps outside was 50-52deg. Not sure if its because if have my return of the ic line going into the tank and not the heat exchanger first.

I get most my recovery in about 30 seconds if I stay crusing at 65 mph an then about another minute to get near to 10 deg over ambient. It does vary with outside temp and I do feel that running the return line into the H/E before returning to tank is important.

hmm I def have a issue then I know its not the pump I keep checking that and its flowing like it always has, its got to be the way I have my return set up. kponti is your return on the ic going to the heat exchanger?
