W211 E63 Wagon, Audi R8
CLS 18" wheels fitment on a W211 E63
Hi Folks,

A sanity check please. It seems that a few folks are running CLS 18 wheels on their E55, but I did not see anybody running these wheels on an E63. There are a ton of threads for the 19" CLS wheels, but few for 18".

Wheels specs:
CLS 18x8.5 ET25 18x9.5 ET 28

Tires:
245/40R18 and 265/35R18

Will this wheel/ tire combo fit?

Cool beans. Since I will be ordering new tires - Michelin Pilot Sport AS3, how much room do I have to increase the width of the tire without decreasing the sidewall height?

Perhaps:
Stock: 245/40R18 265/35R18
Upgrade: 255/40R18 275/35R18

Yep. The R8 is the weekend ride, and the E63 wagon I picked up this weekend is the grocery getter

OK, so it seems 255/40 in the front would rub, and since comfort is paramount, I will go with stock sizes:

F: 245/40
R: 265/35 (AS3 not available in 275/35, dang)
