Part Number for Drivers Side Intake (113 094 21 82 or 113 094 12 82)
Looking to replace the drivers side intake pipe on my E55 with one that isn't as restricted. I've read many conflicting posts on which part fits better, using the passenger side off of a w211 e55 (113 094 21 82) or the drivers side from an S55 (113 094 12 82).
Any consensus as to which fits better?
I realize that it may not make one lick of a difference but I'm pretty much tapped out on mods short of a new throttle body or camshafts, so might as well focus on the small stuff...

The S55 one fits fair (but still poorly).
A large restriction is the smaller inlet opening on the driver side (the pass way through the radiator). For some reason the driver side is smaller than the passenger side, and the S55 intake is full sized through there. I wonder if the passthru for S55 could fit, or if that part can just be removed entirely.

I've tried both. S55 snorkel fit better. I threw mine away and went back to stock E55, as the S55 snorkel doesn't look stock (has a band that allows some air to flow in). Maybe I'll try again using both left and right snorkels from S55
