2005 E55 Wagon Sirius Install
I just picked up an E55 Wagon off of a board member here and absolutely love the car. I am trying to sort out what it does and does not have for satellite pre-wiring and I am fully confused. I have read through a ton of threads, but can't quite make any of them fit my exact situation.
When I press the SAT button on the radio it says "no satellite connection". My first thought is that I don't have a tuner for it. There is an XM mini antenna on the roof, so I am guessing it once had a sat connection. I can not find any satellite tuners anywhere in the car though. I don't know if someone once went the aftermarket route (which I have no interest in) or if someone bypassed the OEM antenna (which I think is in once of my pics just below the rear window) and used a roof mounted antenna for a stronger signal.
Can anyone sort out if I am pre-wired for it or not based on the following pictures?:
Thanks in advance for any help!!

First off, beautiful wagon!
Second, yes you are prewired, but unfortunately you're missing the items needed for a factory integration.
- Sirius module (fairly easy to source)
- Sirius module wagon mount (essentially impossible to source)
- OEM Sirius antenna (available but difficult to source)
- ancillaries for the conversion (next to impossible to source mounting templates)
I actually have all of these items, which for the wagon are extremely hard to come by. I was going to do the OEM integration myself but have since changed my mind as I want to go with an aftermarket head unit.
If you're interested, PM me as I would be willing to sell my entire kit to you
