Yeah 8-10K is reasonable. I was looking at a Modena 360 turbo kit and I think it was around $25K .....

I'm doing a roll racing event on Saturday so nothing tomorrow. Plus my daughter flies in from NC today and I'll be doing some things with her.

But I'll let everyone know when I'm going to hit the 1/4 mile. It's hot as shi$ down here right now, so I guess it's time to turn the meth on.

Could the ECU from 5.5TT V12 be hacked up to work on M113K with turbos? Maybe that's too crazy?

no absolute tuning nightmare, ea car is branded you'd have to go thru every pain staking bit of code in the entire ECU to change it & it's in German..

True... But it's taken Marcin/Speedriven years upon years & he still has problems w/the ECU freaking out when it sees too much tq etc tc etc

I don't know much about Speedriven, but mine seems to be fine. I hit 24psi the other day, but was to lean for me. So I turned it back down. I don't think my stock trans is gonna hold that much.

So let me get this straight....when you say "stock trans and motor" you mean it has not been apart for mods? That's freaking awesome!!!!

Maybe the better question is can the v12tt engine/ecu be modified to run on 8 cylinders? If that could be done, then getting ecu working with v8 block and turbos may not be that difficult. Of course that assumes v8 and v12 have same sensors and engine control systems.

Yes the motor has NEVER been apart. I have 550cc injectors and ARP head studs and that's it.

The trans was a reman that I got a few years ago after I blew the original at the track in GA while racing with chawkins. It has the UPD 3000 stall and a custom tune and that's it.

From what I've been told from Speedriven, yes you can alter it, but it's a tuning/code nightmare as the ECU is tied into every other electrical component IE ABC/Airmatic/Command system etc so you have to painstakingly go line by line thru 1,000'ands of lines of code to 1st find the area you wish to modify/change values or turn on/off & decode it all as it's ALL written in German.

So if you're fluent in German & have the time to read/go thru tons of pages of codes YES it can be altered, though to what degree IE actually shutting off 4 of cylinders etc is a mystery to me.. Go ahead & try as Elliot has noted he must be using a 600/65 ecu w/some good sucess I know they used a 600 ecu/tcu on the EV12 speedriven helped make IE was E55k swapped to 600 v12 but did/does have running problems per the last owner Harry from this forum.. V12Godspeed was the original owner/ had it made so he will have ton more viable info on the subject hopefully he will chime in

Sorry, didn't mean to give that impression. I'm using my stock ECU still.
But my tuner has been tuning AMGs for years and really knows what he's doing.

TLDR but you can't sell till it cools off and you can walk into the 9s... It's a true story and you know it!
