You know that's just the cheesy add on kit right? It doesn't replace the factory wood.

I believe you misread the information on that thread. Competitors are set to be in the $3-4000 range, he states that he is under $1000. Look to be at around the $7-900 mark, for a carefully crafted set. I've followed his work since the beginning and it is top notch.
