E55-SLR engine differences?

From what I heard, though the engine shared the same displacement, it has no commom parts. Ooooooo, it's assembled on the first floor of the AMG plant along witht he CL65's engine.

Dry sump lubrication, more boost, different cams, (hence different torque characteristics), and overall different gearing, redline raised to 7000rpm.
To convert your 55K engines into an SLR spec engine is not possible, why is everyone obsessed with getting 617bhp out of their V8K's?
Even Brabus, the most extreme but reliable tuner doesn't offer more than 50hp upgrade for this motor.
You''d be better off getting MKB tuning, thei rmost extreme package gets 620Hp out of this engine, which will enable your cars to do 0-300km/hr in about SLR quick!
