Chirping the tires!
I have new Conti Sport IIs' on my E55 and lately with the cold (denser) air i have been able to chirp my 1-2 and 2-3 shift while in manual mode. Even with the mandated shift pause put in place by AMG to prevent wheel spin, the power lately has been ferocious. Anyone else experience this?

I think part of the problem is the ContiSport 2 tires are terrible. I've had them on my Porsche 996 Turbo as OEM and they sucked. I changed to Michelin Pilot Cups for track days and what a difference...Granted the Cups are almost slicks, but man are they a lot better than the Conti's.
I wish Benz didn't use Conti as an OEM tire. I'd rather see the new Michelin Pilot Sport 2 or even the current Pilot Sport.
