CA Smog Question? 2007 E63
Looking to purchase a 2007 e63 but it's been modified with American Racing headers w/ 200 cell and a Weistec ECU. Car is out of State and I'm not sure if this car will pass CA smog. Anybody have any idea?

Doubt it'll pass, they do a visual inspection and if it's too loud they'll notice and start digging around. But trust me if you live in SoCal. It CAN be done, just will cost a bit more than a usual smog renew.

That's what I was thinking also but wanted to check in. I'm sure I'll be able to get it passed once but to continue doing it down the line will probably be the problem.
