2011 E-350
Bye bye E55. Hello E 350
Had to get rid of the E55 today.
In the 25k mi I had it I had to replace:
Heater blower
Valve cover gaskets
Heater valves
SC pully
SC belt due to pully exploding
Radiator fan
Alternator which caused main battery and aux battery to be replaced
Brakes all around
Tires all around
AC compressor which cause main serpentine belt to shred
5 days stuck in NYC waiting on parts spending 1400.00 for hotels
Third Party warrenty by Interstate paid 3k I paid 7k plus tires and brakes and scheduled maint.
AMG=All Money Gone
========================
2011 CPO E350 with 3 yr B2B Mercedes warrenty with unlimited mileage.
Sure Hope this is a better experience. If not its back to Lexus.

Unlucky experience.
Mostly minor stuff but I know how it can get under your skin.
Seems like you were taken for a ride though, 7k plus more for tyres and brakes. For the work listed, it sounded like you paid off the mechanics boat or something.

Sounds like normal E55 stuff. Mb quality nowadays is far superior to when the E55 was built though. Just watch that mb tex. It tends to crack and split. Good luck with the new ride

MBWorld Fanatic!
It is a decade old. It's a rocket. If your not interested in speed the E55 is the farthest thing u should want. I would not own a N/a benze. Too expensive.
