Hey guys, new e55 owner (december '03 build date). One of the first things I would like to do is swap the upgraded steering rack.

New ones are kind of expensive, but I see a lot on ebay in the 200-300 dollar range, and will probably go that route.

I read a couple posts that this will trigger traction control early, but can be flashed out? So before I start buying parts I wanted to ask exactly what this involves from someone who's done it - any new plates / bushings? Who could flash the computer for the new rack?
