Keyless go start button issue now working ?
My keyless start/stop button was intermittent the last 6 months or so,, then it stopped working ,, I thought I pin pointed the issue to the switch itself and I found a replacement shift knob and replaced it.. Touched button and started up ,, restested a few times and still worked perfectly -- all fixed right,,, now a few hours later I try it and nothing,,, all my door lock sensors seem to work and new batteries in the key fob, but I am confused what else it could be.... Anyone have some thoughts on what it is or where to look next ?
Thx in advance

Do a search. Usually it the wires in the shifter that gets pinched. There's some DIY photos that show you how to take it all apart to get to the wire. It may be in the regular W211 forum or in other forums, but it's a common problem with keyless go across all models.
