W211 05 e55 amg stalls /jerks
More fun , my 05 e55 stalls and jerks when i go WOT feels like i hit a rev limiter, details..
Stock:engine,ecu,tcu
Mods:010 aux pump, muffler and resonator delete, x pipe.
Things i have changed and checked already: sparkplugs changed and checked, vacuum leaks none,no codes.
Things im checking soon:order new ignition wires, checking fuel filter, fuel pump.
What the car does: car stalls and shakes bad when i go WOT like a rev limiter at any gear from a roll or a digg any rpm etc as soon as i go straight WOT.
So if u have input as i work on this im all ears so i can get to the bottom of this case faster any welcome.

What are your STFT and LTFT fuel trims like?
Mine started to do that when my pumps were dying due to loss of fuel pressure
Coil pack could also be a culprit
Pull codes using STAR, not on a generic code reader and check your trims

That was my best bet pumps or filter, i have no info on previous owner or its abuse or maintenance the car does feel like *** tho i mean its smooth but it does not feel like a 470hp car my s4 with 350hp feels 200 times better so im sure something is wrong with the car.

I had a similar problem when I left a jumper in place for the IC Pump during a 1/4 mile run. I had pulled the relay and put in a jumper to keep the pump running between rounds. I left the jumper in and the car went into limp mode. Removed the jumper, put the relay back in, and all has been well ever since. Still don't understand why, but that seemed to be the culprit.

Im going to run it see what it does and go from their, next is fueling then gaskets in the sc and then intake mani gaskets.

Now if you are running at 2500 rpm 5 gear on the highway and drop down to third gear and punch it and it falls on its face, that would most likely a fuel problem, the E55's fuel system has many short comings, the tank is crap, the fuel pump is not the greatest and has been known to overload the electrical plug and melt it, the filter is a whole other can of expensive worms.
you really needed to start you diagnostics with fuel system because the M113 twin plug ignition system is bullet proof and the ECU is much more accurate reporting ignition problems (codes) than fuel problems.

Yellow triangle indicates wheel spin. I am not sure of your description "stall or Jerk". Are you talking about the 1800 RPM supercharger engagement, it is more pronounced the more aggressive you are with acceleration. depending on conditions anywhere from 1600-2200 RPM the supercharger comes on line and causes a load (15-20 HP) then builds boost and brings horsepower up fast, 400 ftlbs of torque @ 2000 RPM is possible.

Still should check fuel pressure.
TPS, there is a good thread here on the topic of Throttle Position Sensor, I just cant find it right now.
You could try the ECU reset and or disconnect battery over night.

Funny thing is i been running the car since the coils and wires change and it has not done it so far, but let me ask u this when the car reaches high temperatures the sc wont work correct ? But how does it feel ? Bc coming from vegas felt like the sc clutch was engaged and disengage rapidly when i when wot so i felt the car kick over and over like when the clutch engages

SC off feels like a V6, If you have high inlet air temps the ECU pulls timing and if they get too high the SC gets shut off. You might want to check the Intercooler pump it is a known problem on these cars, 100's of posts on the topic and newer better (updated Bosch) pumps are available.
BTW no code for bad IC pump.

its shuts off around the 170 degree mark. if the esp light is flashing when it happens there is a good chance there is a stored code in the esp module so it would be a good idea to get hooked up to a star and read all the codes.

There we go now we getting somewhere this is good ifo , well at vegas was like 108 so maybe the temperature inside the sc was greater than that, my esp light goes on when i lose traction bc one of my rear sruts is completely gone needs replacement =(.

Sounds just like what happened to my E55. Did the problem start after it not being driven for a while? Or after having the Batt discharged due to whatever reason? My E55 was jerking and just dying after being run for some time. Sometimes when I put my foot flat on the pedal it would start jerking too…… Crazy thing was I took it to the local Euro specialist for a Diagnostic check, all sorts of electrical codes came up. I replaced the main battery even though it was giving good enough readings and that fixed the problem flat! Some electrical gremlin manifesting its way through the battery. I’ve done over 10k in it since then with no further issues.
