Race fuel ?
Thinking about switching over to race fuel (MS109) to run at all times in my E55. Since it is not my daily anymore, I'm not too worried about the price or the gas mileage. Wondering does anyone here run it all times? Is there a downside to it?

I ran MS109 with 91 pump gas 60-40 mix and my car loved it. I don't see any downsides. Enjoy!

Down side is your pockets. I ran race gas (Q16 and a Q16 mix with another VP fuel) and didn't have a problem. In my gt500 I run only race gas and only problem so far is it just killed the o2 sensor. MS109 will require about 10% more fuel in the tune but the tuner can get pretty aggressive 21-23 degrees of timing.

Most Aral (BP) stations here in Germany offer 102 octane at about $6.00/gallon. A bargain considering that one year ago it was selling for about $8.00/gallon. Too bad I will have to retune for Florida's 93 octane when I bring the car back.

Made the switch yesterday, Jerry had the base tune literally on point!!! it still needs a bit of adjusting to get it perfected. hopefully by the end of this month I will get around to that.. Long story short, ended up going to the track and have ran my best pass on street tires I see tens in my near future on 16" DRs. Wanna also say thanks to HULK he has helped me a long way to get the car where it's at now!!! Thanks buddy were going tens soon

I do actually i ran 11.28 @125mph... So I gained 4mph just by the switch, remember I'm still on street tires, obviously low psi but I lose time getting out of the hole, that's why my 60ft sucks.
