I’m planning to get TB 82mm from S550 A2731410325 to upgrade the TB on my E55, my question is there any wire harness can be used to connect S550 TB to my E55 directly (plug and play)? Can I use the original wire harness of my E55? Or I have to use the original wire harness of the S550? or both will not work and I have to modify the wire connectivity? please advise ....

the connector is the same but you will probably need the new adapter harness anyways since they were glued to the tb from the factory.

Can anyone give an input if you put a 82mm tb,do you need a tune or mod to the ecu?is it plug and play.Thanks in advance

I just installed 82mm TB and yes I believe you do need a tune if you have the 77mm fixed pulley, But I also did 550cc injectors as well.

What if there is no pulley swap. same as stock? Ive been wondering this myself. Im sure a tune will help but, is it absolutely necessary to feel an increase in power with a 82mm throttle body and everything else stock?

It may throw a code that may need to be adjusted with tune but not really sure. Whenever I needed a tune I've upgraded more than one thing at a time that required a new tune.
