Got these two error messages after the CEL came on. Since running the scan, the CEL has gone away. However, randomly and unexpectedly the transmission will refuse to shift gears no matter if I romp on it, put in Manual and try to shift. The only way to fix it is to stop and turn off the car and turn it back on. Anybody have the same issues or experiences?
you need a valve body. on non amg cars just the conductor plate can be replaced but since your is amg you need the complete assembly valve body/conductor plate. this will be a dealer only install since its a theft relevant part. there are very few indy shops that can also do this repair.

Ok yeah little confusing. The bulletin LI27.50-P-049710 states it is not possible to repair the EHS (VGS) in AMG vehicles. Now I look in EPC and it shows the part available separately as long as it's not a wet clutch trans.

Mine is a 2007, does that help determine if it's fixable or not?
