Who's running a Line Lock?

I searched but could only find references to an old Evosport kit but no install pictures. I think I'd like to install one to help with burnouts and dragstrip launches, but I'm not sure how difficult it would be on our braking systems.

Any thoughts or pictures would be appreciated!

This place is a joke.
I had a line lock on my '71 Dart 20 years ago. Completely unnecessary on the E55. Check my second youtube video below to see why, this is with ESP switched OFF for the burnout.

Yeah, I can do a burnout without one, in fact I've done 69 of them so far this year with two weeks to go in the racing season. :-) The main reason I want a line lock is so I can leave the tree by releasing a button instead of using my foot. A poor-man's trans-brake, if you will. That should get me a more consistent R/T and more WIN lights!

Trans brake, lol....I get your idea. The only way I think to do it would be 2 solenoids after the SBC unit, 1 for each front brake line. Look under your hood at the SBC unit, there is one hard line for each wheel coming off the pump. The problem is, I don't know if the SBC unit would like it when you release the pressure, it may set a hydraulic valve fault, but who knows. I think anything installed before the pump it will certainly not like when it sees pressure when the pedal is released (line lock ON)

Jeezus christ, Trans brake? Line lock? Are we talking about a mercedes or a 1969 dodge dart?

Something tells me the computer will like that, but good luck.

We're talking about a 500hp supercharged V8 that runs the 1/4 mile in less than 12 seconds. Year, Make, and Model are inconsequential details.

Evosport used to have a kit for this car, but I can't find any pictures of the install. Is anyone left on this board that has one?
