Fuel mixture

Trying to lean out AFR after logging and applying a new map on the car, but the car is still running 10-11 AFR.

E63 and GL450, ML350 bluetec
I am interested in this as well. Replaced my intake gasket, PCV, headbolts, engine mounts, etc. I updated my tune during the same time as adding headers and my E63 runs rough and super low idle. I havent checked with star but looks like 600-700rpm and it seems low. Car runs great but the idle shake is bothering me. Anyone ever do this and the flywheel adaptation?

iCarsoft MB-II has the option to reset the ETCS. By way of cursory Googling, it might not be unrelated.

I reset mine a few days ago and the car definitely did weird things that suggested it was seeking for new values, like stumbling and dropping RPMs at a red light. But after 5 minutes of driving seems to be to 'healthy'.

Agreed same thing here, but after a few thousand miles the ECU generates and populates the adaptation values.

Once all of the values in the adaptations table are populated you need to use STAR again to programme the adaptations menu SMOOTH ENGINE RUNNING and save the setting. If you do not do this and the car battery goes flat or you disconnect the battery .......the adaptation values will be lost and you will get a rough running engine and have to go through the whole process again of driving a few thousand mile to populate the values.
