Very disappointing Dyno Results
Well, I ran my car on the dyno this weekend and it came nowhere near what I was expecting. My car is 100% completely stock so I wasnt expecting anything unrealistic. My numbers were:
1st run: 371hp 456tq
2nd run: shut it down, guy on the dyno said it felt like timing was being pulled or something "didnt feel right"
Seeing is that I am at 120K and everything is all original I am guessing the I/C pump and or HE is shot. Is there anything else I should look into?

You say the car is stock? I wouldn't worry too much about a major issue and concentrate your efforts on the IC pump. May very well be the stock pump from the original factory build.

469 at the crank per MBUSA/AMG. 18% loss - 385WHP stock. Dyno's all read differently. I'd say your right in the range of what is normal. It's hard to simulate proper air flow into the engine/intercooler so your AIT's probably went up pretty quickly.

Oh okay, sounds like I dont need to worry too much then. I read that stock should be between 420-440 on a Dynojet so I was thinking I am about 50HP low.
Either way I am looking into an I/C pump and HE

Here is my guess. Your IC pump is failing. Your tq is fine hp alittle low. Your peak tq is at a low rpm. By the time your motor got to the top end for peak hp it was starting to heat soak.jmo

My numbers were about the same, stock as well, 80K miles.
Heart Breaker dyno (dyno dynamics). Dyno Jet equivalent was about 447.
IATs were high on mine which was pulling timing and running rich.
Haven't done anything yet to try and improve. The numbers may look disappointing, but the car is still fun to drive!

If you were on a dynojet dyno, that hp number is low but torque is good.
A normal, healthy, stock 55k motor sees around 410 whp from my experience. (Give or take 10hp)
Check that inter-cooler pump.

The used underwear comment was funny. I agree, intercooler pump is the first thing you should do on these cars. Heat exchanger doesn't really go bad from what I seen. But, bigger is always better.
Your IC pump is dead bro, your car was probably heat soaked very badly. You gotta let these cars cool down at least 45 minutes with the hood open. My buddies car did the exact same numbers heat soaked. He cooled it down and car made 410whp 457 torque
Change your IC pump and let the car cool down considerably before the dyno run. If you can start your dyno run under 95 degrees Intake Air Temp. You will see big numbers for stock. GL!

Got a question...
Didn't I read somewhere on here that you can jump the intercooler pump to run all-the-time? Somewhere in the trunk, one of the drag people figured that one out. It helped when changing the IC pump to purge air also.
That might cool faster the soak issue when doing dyno pulls, with a new IC pump of course, or it should be SOP on the dyno.

If you just cool the car down before dyno or a run, you will see substantial increase in power and track performance. Icy cool even better. Ive seen heat soaked E55's pickup 45-50whp from just cooling the car with ice bag over the supercharger.

Thanks for ya'lls input. I am going to do the IC pump and HE at the same time since I will have the front bumper off.
Anyone have input on the fabtech cooling kit that comes with the HE and the in engine bay cooling tank... nice to have or just stick with HE? I plan on doing the basics down the road (headers, clutched SC Pulley, tune).
Thanks again

Engine bay cooling tank and splitting your cooling system will help tremendously. If you get an OBD2 app for your phone you can see just how much it helps your IAT's. GL!
