Wheel prep ???

Waiting on tires to arrive for my new AG M590's and was wondering if there's any sort of wheel prep I can perform prior to install? My main concern is the inner barrel cleaning I suppose. Should I wax or coat it with something to ease the pain of brake dust/blackening to the inside of rims? Thanks!

Don't let it build up. You can't prevent brake dust or debris settling in the rim. A nice thing wheel brush will make easy work of it once a week. I have a air chuck at work that I blown my rims/calipers out once a week. Amazing how much dust gets stuck in the caliper.

I wax my wheels twice a year. I also pull my wheels off every time that I wash my car. I wash the wheels and calipers at this time.

Thanks! Will wax them for sure and might entertain a shot of clear coat to smooth the inside finish out. It's a bit rough and will be holding brake dust in its crevices. I wish I had time to pull wheels during a wash...hard to find time just to drive it...Arrrrgh!

Thanks guys! Found this product called Wheel Guard form Chemical Guys and it looks like a barrier for wheel dust and promotes ease of cleaning. I did throw a good coat of wax on for now. Will post up results when I get this product in my possession.
