C63 Black Series falls to my Queen Of Stealth

Last Friday an AMG C63 Black Series unwittingly takes on the Queen of
Stealth, the formidable Autobahn Marauder on the A60. My very stout E55 that AMG had never imagined. Look for the "thumbs up" (and the look of astonishment) from the Black Series pilot. All pulls began at 80-100 mph with a run up to about 165-170 mph. IAT's maxed out at around 135-140.

Thanks to EuroCharged for the new headers and Magnaflow for the new cats.

Lol. Thanks for the video. That was like watching a greyhound chase the electric rabbt. The greyhound only gets as close to the electric rabbit as the rabbit decides while the whole time the silly little greyhound thinks it actually has a chance.

Perfect analogy. From now on I'll always think about it every time I drive by the Palm Beach Kennel Club. I know the colorful Florida "bikini plate" also gets the European's attention. Biggest problem for me is what I am permitted to do on the A60 will send me directly to jail if done on I95.

Have the latest Blinder system which you need in Germany as much as on I95. Germany (and Europe, for that matter) is peppered with automatic laser speed/cameras. They are very serious about posted speed limits.

Can you see the transponders?

The difference here is the drivers which are better trained, used to higher speeds and a bit more predictable. I've never seen a more dangerous highway than I95 between Palm Beach and Miami. Can you even imagine a open speed limit on I95?

Somewhere I have a dash-cam video where I was coming up on a BMW police car at around 130 mph which shows him/her moving over to the right to let me blow by. High speed driving is simply built into the German DNA. In Germany it's political suicide to even mention the notion of a national speed limit. I think the max speed limit in any of the other European countries is 130 kph, but usually lower. Oh, and the absolute speed limit for tractor-trailers is 80 kph (50 mph) and retreaded tires are forbidden, so you never see a thrown tread in the road or along the side.
