How big of a difference is steering 04 vs 05

How big of a difference is steering 04 vs 05
I'm in the market for a e55 amg and searched the differences between the 03-04 vs 05-06 models. I know the steering rack was changed 05 and the difference is about 10%. However, looking at an 04 and 05 how significant is the difference from a drivers perspective? Is it worth waiting to find a 05+?
I'm coming from a z06, but need a four door with our new addition to the family. Daily driving a jeep commander isn't inspiring.

+1 CLS has the has the updated rack.
It makes little difference, you can get much greater steering improvements as out lined in this post.
