E55 amg Catback or no catback?

So stupid question, is it even worth going lets say for sake of conversation 3" catback or 2.75"?

I have x pipe no mufflers no resonator atm but was wondering if i would benefit at all from bigger catback or is it waste of time money and all i get is more noise.

What do u guys think? Btw i dont want to touch cats o2s etc atm so thats out of the question.

Just noise, but oh what a joyful noise. You may see a minor gain, but not much of any. I have a Fabberge catback and it brought the sound sensory to life!

Very interesting, so it well amplified the sound thats about it then , so if do go cat back whats better 2.75 or 3"? My wild guess would be 3? Incase i do change headers or downpipes in the future?

I just have Renntech mids with a 3"Fabberge cat back that deleted the resonator and secondary cats.......it truly is a E55 symphony!

I have basically the same setup as you have. I would leave it as is unless you are going to install some long tubes
