Glad you like them. How did you happen to choose these tires?

Does 275 fit the stock rims?

Was thinkin about doing this to help my horrible 60ft times ( I'm a noob at the track). Some times would greatly be appreciated. I too was thinking about going 275's because they didn't have 265's I believe. Which track you going to? I was plannin on going to LACR tom with a couple buddies of mine. I won't be running because I don't have my stockies with me right now but I was going to see what my friend was running in his A6 2.7T 6spd. If you go what time you plannin on going? I would love to see your car and see it run down the track.

I don't see why they wouldn't? Stock ones run 265's so I don't tink a 275 should be all that bad?

Thanks, Benzoboi.

Anyone else using 275's? Makes sense to do so with the complaints about traction.

Sorry I can't give ya some hard facts. But I'm thinkin it shouldn't be a problem running 275's. And yes we need all the help we can with the traction department. I'm sure drags will solve it

Wouldn't drags be a drag so to say in rain?

Very true...because of this I decided to get 2 17 inch rims just for the rear and put the drags on there. I will keep the stock 18's up front and run like that. When I go home I swap back to the stock 18's and drive home happy (HOPEFULLY)

haven't done it yet. Jus thought of the idea. Was thinkin it would be a hassle drivin with drag's to the track and drivin them home only to swap the tires out again. Wouldn't want to be drivin on drag's as an everyday thing.

Did you happen to brake torque or anything? Or was it just a straight gun from the green? Is your car stock? Thanks

i toasted the radials for about 10 seconds. came up to the line and they were like glue i held down to 2k and when the light turned green i stomped down. no one single 10th of a second of spinning. it felt so good. between street tires and the radials. it cant even be compared. it is great.

YES THE CAR IS BONE STOCK.

FUTURE MODS.

RENNTECH ECU
RENNTECH PULLEY
S-CLASS SNORKLE
ITG AIR FILTERS
BOOST MOD. BRING IT FROM 8LBS TO 14LBS
I SHOULD BE AT LOW 11S JUDGING BY THESE OTHER NUMBERS

IM STILL STUCK ON WHAT EXAUST I WANT TO DO.
AND COME SPRING I HAVE A SET OF 547Rs 19X10 AND 19X9 WATING TO GRACE THIS BEAUTIFUL CAR. HIGH POLISH AND CHROME

MY GOAL IS TO BEAT THE 11.4 THE RENNTECH S600 RAN (TREYNOR). AND I WILL NOT STOP TILL I KILL THAT RECORD.

I run 315/30/18 BFG drag radials on my Supra and from a 5mph roll I can put down 600-650rwhp in 1st gear at wide open throttle without ANY wheel spin. These tires are absolutely insane.

Couple things to be aware of:

Tires wear out extremely quickly... 1500-3000 miles
Tires are TERRIBLE in the rain - if not downright dangerous
Tires are extremely wide for their rating, my 315 tire measures around 13" from sidewall to sidewall.

But for a spare set of 18" rear wheels, slap these tires on, and hold on. The short times will be incredible. A 1.7 short time isn't even having these tires break a sweat. Get back out there, turn the ESP off, brake torque that baby as high as you can and let her rip.

I'll second (third, forth, etc.) this recommendation. I have the 265/40 DRs on my RENNtech S600, and I've run consistent 1.62 - 1.64 60's with them. That's pretty insane for a 4600lb sedan on such skinny tires.
