cecil county today
well the car finally made it down the track and shifted. first run 11.6 at 122mph despite that ****ty ice box I have it must be getting air bubbles I saw 156act at the end. 1.699 sixty foot leaving about 2200rpm I need to stall it up higher I have video of it yelping 2nd gear with the hoosier qtp tires. the 2nd run I tried rolling into the gas that didn't work it needs to be stomped on. 1.76 sixty foot and 11.5 at 122mph. the funny thing is on the way home blast up to 140mph the act didn't go over 100deg. I know the car is making power for that trap speed on my street tune and stock pulley. im just glad no limp mode or cutting out. These tracks are packed with people its hard to really get runs in and get that sixty down. perhaps another shot or in the spring.

yes i have quaife, the ironic part my best 60fts 1.64 1.66 was with the stock diff, doing one legged burnouts. but after headers and now gears its been tricky. I know stalling it way up and smashing it will get the short time i need i just wanted to get down the track. and next time i will only drain ic tank a little bit to add ice. it served 0 purpose yesterday with those high temps. I don't even get those temps on the street without ice.

prob keep the pulley stock. Need to fine tune this combo with my ice box and get my 60fts down. perhaps skinnies will help with weight transfer since its a bit trickier with a stall converter on this car. The track was so packed I didn't even fool with tire pressure or nothing that's why a track rental would be nice.

P.S. Color is why it runs so well!

Yes, many of my CTSV guys were there and I was loaded up on my trailer ready to leave at 3am and caught a stomach virus at JUST the right time! lol The nasty tire guy car was red?
Anyway, I was actually planning on going to Cecil this Saturday but its going to be pretty warm and I have some work that I 'should' do Saturday that just came up so I am going to shoot for Saturday the 19th. Maybe you wanna go?
