Erratic behavior when tires break loose in 2nd

i usually run my car with the trac button off. The issue is sometimes when the car initially gets loose in second gear it acts as if the trac control is kicking in. The thing is this only happens some times and usually at the low end of second. When it gets farther into second it will come loose again but you can peddle it and drive through it. Other times with the trac off it doesn't do this at all. This has hurt me a couple of times when racing from a roll. Has anyone else had this issue? I know the only way to completely kill the trac control is dyno mode but I obviously don't want to run dyno mode to get around this .

From everything I have read 05-06 even when esp is off it will kick in sometimes. Dyno mode is the only way to avoid it. Mine an 04 does not with esp off. But to be honest car seems faster with it on. I have not really learned to drive that well with it off yet

The car will step in even with traction off. It's a safety feature. My 04 will not step in if it sees appropriate steering corrections.
