My contract with Nextel is ending, so I'm getting ready to breakdown and have the dealer install a V60i in my 2002 E55 (Verizon service).

I could have sworn I saw an AMG faceplate for it, but can't find it anywhere on google or here... Anyone know of one?

.......there is indeed an AMG face plate for the V60. It is available at any Mb dealer and costs about $75. However it only fits newer V60 phones who's face plates can me removed. Mine is an older V60 so I was unable to remove my face plate. I have held the AMG face plate in my hands and as a result I know it exists, not just rumors.

...................of course you are right, but you forget that the phoneitself costs $600. Everyone knows that these things are overopriced but they are selling to niche market and will sell only a limited volume. Wellcome to the world of MB.

There's a picture of two V60 phones in the E Class accessories brochure: one with the MB star and the other with the AMG logo. See you dealer for a copy.

$75 Dollars! WHERE!

I went to the stealer last week and inquired on the Black AMG V60i cover and was told it was $122. WTF, Holy Sh_it. Just because it has a inch of carbon fiber on it.

The part number for the TDMA V60i is Q-682-0877.
