Broken supercharger pulley ?
Well I think my supercharger pulley is going out , the seal to the bearings came out after I started it this morning and as its warming up & I hear a small consistent ping noise so I pop the hood & see that the bearings are exposed & I shut it off to access the situation , any ideas of what it will run here in Cali for parts and labor if it's just the pulley

MBWorld has a nice "search" feature that works quite well - I still use it.

It's a good job for you to try. Make sure after you get the bolt out keep in mind the washer won't come off untill you pull on the pulley. Make sure you don't let it go into your fan shroud.

I would replace that bearing before going anywhere further bud. If you want there is a ton of performance super charger pulleys, sizes and clutched/fixed.. So there are many options for you.

Also remember when tightening the supercharger back on to correctly torque it, don't over tighten as you can snap the bolt. There is an idler tension pulley which you will start at first to release tension of course so you can slip the belt off, in case you didn't know about it. Good luck

i did it myself and was pretty easy if you know what you are doing.... easier if you have a bearing press, which i didnt so i made my own makeshift one
