Engine mounts quick question

Hey guys I just got my new engine mounts in the mail and I think I have an issue. They are not the same from left to right side and only one came with a rubber outer sleeve. I have a tight window in which I can have the car down to get this job done and I need to make sure I have the right stuff ASAP or get the seller to get me the right parts ASAP. Let me know what you guys think.

its just missing the cover thats all. They should both have one, protects the bushings. You still could go ahead and install them if you must, since there is the factory heatsheild as well. Maybe then can send you the cover and you can always slip it on at a later time.

On thing that bothers me is the lower mount hole. If you notice they are not the same. The mount on the left is also a little wider in diameter. Does this matter?
Thanks for the reply Jeff.

yeah taking a closer look they don't look right. Where did you buy them from? Personally go with OEM motor mounts.

Looks like I'm good to go. The $93 one is the same as the one on the right in my picture and the $90 one is the same as the one on the left of my picture. I'm going to assume it doesn't matter that they don't match at this point

Huh? You're going off pictures and not part numbers? I'm telling you they are completely wrong. One won't even fit and the other one that will fit is for an e320 and will collapse immediately. Your boxes have part numbers on them that don't match the screen you just posted.

I got the corteco ones from Pelican parts last spring, one of them is shot already. Guess that's why they only get 4 thumbs up.

I just bought a set, Corteco part 601418 after being told they were correct. Damn it! Just checked and they are for the E55 non kompressor plus a heap of other older models. For Petes sake!

Damn retailers!

You have WRONG Engine mounts the one on the left fits E320 or E350's and certain C-class models Original Part # 230 240 01 17, The mount on the right fits CLK430 or CLK55 and the Original Part # 202 240 22 17. The 55 cars take the same mount left and right and the part number is 220 240 27 17

P.S. I do this for a living

I contacted the people I bought from. They agreed after a message or two that the part was wrong. They are contacting their supplier to get the right ones to me. They listed the compatability based on info they were supplied. Sometimes you just get unlucky.
