To be honest the problem is magazine racing. We are all guilty of it. As an extream example I will use the hell cat. The top 5 magazines r/t motortrend car/driver etc all have it running 11.5-11.7 in the qrtr mile . Say your e runs 11.6. I would like to think an e55 tune 83mm and headers could hang with it. Highway run on your way home and you will be raped. Don't believe numbers. I rode in a hell cat last weekend and it's a 10 second if not 9 second car if it can hook. Thats why 600-700 hp cars, viper,z06,e63,ctsv, etc are all 11 second cars. Highway rolls your dead.
