Airmatic issue. Rear wheels

Hi everyone

Any advice would be appreicated.

05 E55 AMG with 75k on the clock. A few months ago, I started noticing that if I did not drive the car for a few weeks the rear suspension would slowly drop over the course of the few weeks. The front suspension would remain the same. As soon as I start the car up the suspension returns to its regular position.

This is now occurring on a much more rapid basis. Within days of not driving the suspension is completely dropped.

I am not sure if I need new rear air airmatic suspension or if I can just buy another component. I don't have access to a STAR system. The rear shocks were replaced around 6 months ago.

Any advice on how to determine what is starting to fail?

Thanks for the insight.

Mine doing the same as well. Noticed the cooler weather made it drop faster but parking mode seems to hold out much longer. Sport Modes currently giving me a day or two. Sound familiar with yours?

Mine has done it for 13 months now. Changes all the time. And switching from comfort to sport 1 and 2 helps. Sometimes it will last weeks. Then sometimes 2 days. At one time it would drop overnight. All of the sudden it stopped and didn't leak for a month. Don't even worry about it anymore.
