Connection problems with Star/DAS...
I have a 2003 SL55 and a 2008 CLS63 at the moment. I can hook up my laptop, fire up DAS and connect to the CLS with zero problems. However, I can't get it to connect with the SL. I took the SL to the Mercedes dealer and their in-house Star/DAS system hooked up and connected to SL with zero problems. Therefore, I'm starting to think that it may be software related.
I have a Dell D630, internal hard drive, and it's running DAS version 12/2015. I have made a video of the problem that I'm having so that it's easy to see and understand what's going on instead of screenshots.
If you have any technical knowledge of using DAS, please watch the video and let me know your thoughts.

something related to your software. Your multiplexer isn't communicating with control units, hence the ! after every control unit. Make sure the green dot next to the X/minimize/restore down buttons is flashing. If it isn't flashing it isn't communicating.

I know on some of the older models you have to use the 38pin socket under the hood to connect star. Not sure if you have that option but it would be something to look into.
