You Have Got To Be Kidding Me - Hellcat and E55's

Guys, I am shocked (n a good way) at what I'm iseeing in this video. Is the advertised RWHP of the E55's low? Enjoy...

I have seen hellcats lose races. Saw a C7 with headers beat him from a 40 roll. 60 roll the cat would pull. If you ever run a hellcat do it from 35-45. That one looked alittle week at 60mph IMO. The autos are a lot faster in most cases .3-.5 faster.

Working link of your

I ran a c7 dead even the other day. If I run a hellcat manual and on stock tires I may stand a chance if he spins alittle at 40. If it's an auto with nittos I'm toast.
Also keep in mine 530rwhp is a very well modded 55. Full boltons.
Either way with Hoosiers the cats run 10.8 stock. The C7 zo6 is the one you don't want to mess with. Have not seen a hellcat close to beating one. Stock for stock the z will pull 3 cars fairly easy on a hell cat. Modded they are in the 9's and 8's are coming soon. Good traction and 1000lbs lighter than a cat.

Thanks for the feedback and the working link correction. I didn't think a highly modded 55 could run as close as the 2 E55"s in the video not to mention an SL beating one. Great to see. Seems I have seen to many "Hellcat versus the World" videos... My buddy has a 6-speed Hellcat. We will do some pulls and I will record. Wish me luck...

Sounds sad but I remember the the times of the 10 sec club. I want to be a member one day.

As for the cats et they seem to vary greatly. The auto challengers the strong ones. The manual chargers the weakest. I have not seen live or video of a charger stick stock running 10's. I have seen a charger go 10.8 at the strip and on video many times.

Downtown where street races happen I saw a C7 with headers only give a charger stick everything it could handle. Telling me it's a mid 11 second car. So I'm thinking car/tranny can make a .7 difference in et.

What are your mods and is his a challenger or charger?
Hell yes good luck

Also keep in mind those videos are misleading sometimes. The pulleys for them are out in full swing and most are running nittos are better. 7 out,of ten people buying this type of car will mod immediately.

Buddy has a Challenger Hellcat with 6-Speed. He knows how to drive it (no granny shifts, foot to the floor "speed shift").

Current mods are 168mm pulley, ECU, and headers. The following are in the mail:
1) 84mm s/c pulley
2) Belt Wrap Kit
3) TCU Tune (Eurocharged)
4) Re-Tune the ECU (came along for the ride)
5) Fabtech Dual Core Heat Exchanger with Engine Bay Tank
6) Meziere Water Pump

The car is being shipped from CT and is on a transport. ETA on the parts/install is about 2-weeks. Fabtech has to build the engine bay tank.

Eurocharged is telling me it should put down 480-500 HP. We will see...

Should be good for 500. Equal to a 180 crank headers and proper cooling. Surprised Jerry didn't suggest injectors.

In Fabtech time, that means 6-8 weeks.

I would Definitely up the injectors at this point, don't want her to go boom. Might as well throw on a larger TB as well to get the Full compliment. TB will give you Much better throttle response. Your hellcat buddy will be thinking WTF just happened.. Good luck and post vids..

What size injectors?
Would any of you buy a used TB or injectors?

I am this far I might as well do it! Plus I would be thrilled to run with a Hellcat or 662 HP GT500!

Nothing wrong with used. They can be had for 250 used. I know a member has a new pair flow tested plug n play for 400 they are 600 new. If your interested I will send you his name.
A used TB is the way to go. But you need all the pieces. Snout,adaptor,TB,y-pipe. It can be done for 1000 or less

Thank you! Please PM me his info. Couple quick questions; what is the risk without the injectors?
What size are they (550)? What is stock?
Any performance increase with the injectors but w/out the 82mm TB?

No suprise. You guys also need to stop comparing ET to ET when you're roll racing. Stock hellcat will trap 124-126. Which is about the same as a FBO e55 on race gas or e85.

Tell me more about this, shardul! Do you know what mods they have or can you comment on the "est" 530 RWHP? Also, I still struggle with the concept a 530 RWHP car can hang with a Hellcat. Sources say the Cat dyno's at 620 and a 662 HP GT500 around 590.

Also, see a video of a Stage 2 E55 and a 662 HP GT500 with IMHO a HORRIBLE driver. Wasn't even close...

Hope the link works. If it doesn't search for E55 vs 2013 GT500 on Youtube.

Gt 500 wasn't stock even if the E55 was it wouldn't walk that fast unless his pump is bad. Shelby probably has a pulley. They are fast stock. Seen them at the track running 11.8 trapping 124-125.
If your walking an e55 like that your in the mid tens

There are members here that have beat them with 77 pulley and tune only
