I was wondering what you all recommend for the lowest brake dust producing pads. I really don't ever race my car so I just need a low brake dust pad. Right now I have the EBC Reds on there but they are almost gone and it's time to replace them. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

+1 for akebono. Have them on my E. Will put them on again. I have experienced some brake fade with them but I'm talking about repeated braking from 100+. Daily they're quiet and very low dust.

Where can I get the best price on these? Any vendors on the forum? How hard are they to DIY? I'm kind of scared to take it to a shop cause I don't want my wheels and calipers damaged and I'm sure they won't take as much care and I would working on it.

Also do you have to replace the wear sensor when you do the brakes or can you reuse the old one?

I didn't have to. If the wires aren't broke it should just swap right over.

I found the part # and searched all the online sites. Can't remeber where I ended up getting them.

Could someone supply front and rear part numbers for Akebono pads? Only one compound?

LOOKING for E63 2007

Thanks

Not sure but maybe Akebono not available for E63?

Found EBC reds (also recommend for low dust good performance):
Front DP31939C
Rear DP31839C

I just replaced the pads on my 09 E63. Akebono doesn't make them for the '63's from my research. I used Porterfields. So far so good, however, there is no pad that wont dust. Most not as bad as OEM, but they still dust. Just some worse than others. Porterfields are much better then oem's, but don't expect perfectly clean wheels after every drive.
