2008 C63 AMG
SBC brake pump question

When resetting life on SBC options are 0%,25%,50%,75% or 100%. Which one do u choose for a new unit? 0% or 100%?

Dont know the answer but just asking, did you replace the unit or just resetting the calculator? Are you using star?

Reset to 75%, so you'll know when it warns again that you've reached 125% it's operating limit. Then just reset to 75% after that, and you're at 150%, etc etc

Why not just replace it? I am assuming you are resetting the counter on a worn out brake component so best of luck

My previous SBC unit was actually quieter and has better pedal feel than the rebuilt unit I had installed.

Should have reset counter and be aware you will see red screen of death and have vastly diminished braking force.

Exchange SBC units from Bosch are not expensive. Why take a chance with such a critical safety item?
