STAR Diagnostics...how to
I searched extensively how to diagnose and disable/enable features with the STAR and came up empty. Any assistance where I can find STAR functionality is appreciated. A link, documentation, anything.
Looking to:
Disable TPMS
Disable SOS
Disable EGR (Code P0140)
Diagnose heated/vented seat problem
I borrowed this from a thread as an example:
How to: Auto Folding Mirrors coding:
Information & Communication > IC Instrument Cluster > Control Unit Adaptations > Select your MY > Variant Coding > Special Equipment > Mirror Fold-In > PRESENT
Body > System Diagnosis > Control Unit Adaptations > Read Coding and Change > Programming of Vehicle Equip > Folding Outside Mirrors > FITTED
Seats/Doors > DCM-FL > Adaptations ->Read Coding and Change > Fold In Outside Mirror When Locking> ACTIVATED
You should now have the option in your Speed Cluster under Convenience.

I went through all ~40 pages. 
There was only 3 STAR 'How To' threads, the rest were good debates mixed with a sprinkling of pissing matches.
I just want to disable some ****.

Anytime. Remember to have your key in the run pos (but engine need not be running) and perform a clearing of error codes (even if there are none) after step 3 or 4. Otherwise you will see all -- lines in the drop downs in the final screen instead of real values.
