First question is what's a reasonable price for a brake job? They're starting to wear and getting some vibrations, so gonna need to get it done soon. Also, my car has 75k on it and I'm starting to get really nervous about the headbolt issues. Anything I can do to prevent that? Is it a good idea to replace them and how much would that be? Or should I just go for a warranty? Thanks

I was recently quoted $2700 at the dealership. Search and you will find many options. One piece front rotors will save you a bunch but they weigh 6lbs more each. If you can do this yourself and use the one piece you could do front and back for something like $1200.

Life is full of risks. Head bolt catastrophes are rare, stop worrying and enjoy your car. Replacement $2-$3K. Many people recommend a warranty, but be sure you get a good one (best seem to be through credit unions), and make your decision partially on the cost of the warranty.
