I'll regret this, but I need to sell my E55. I need to make space because I have a daughter that will be driving soon. She'll be taking over my DD W124 E300D so I've got to buy a replacement for myself.

Some details-
The exterior has the expected stone chips and minor scratches but the car is still a head turner. The interior is in excellent condition, never smoked in, very very clean. The car is up to date in all services, has no check engine lights and runs and drives perfectly. All work has been done by Jonathan at BlueRidge MB.

The E63 wheels and new Michelin Pilot Super Sports have less than 2K miles. The alignment was done then as well.

Wave Trac LSD
Blinder 950HP
pulley
belt wrap
new serpentine
Heat exchanger
Separate cooling for HE/IC/VS
Redline coolant
New Front rotors kevlar/aramid pads/sensors

Power trunk close option, park assist, nav and the satellite radio plays with no subscription.
The car has 157K on it but during the pre-purchase inspection it was found to be in very good condition and well maintained. The inside of the engine is extremely clean. I'm asking $14,000 for it and I'll knock off $1,000 and keep the E63 wheels.
PM any serious inquiries.

Wow, such a great price. Someone buy this car. Love to see well maintained cars with higher mileage. E55 clean and well kept will become harder to find as the junkers don't get back on the road.

It's bittersweet that there has been little interest...I need the space, but it doesn't break my heart that I get to drive it to work tomorrow and all weekend. The car is fast anyway, but after driving an NA diesel all week, it feels INSANE!!!

I think about that every time I drive it. But it's almost 50 miles one way so it would rack up the miles like crazy.

But it does make for a great day when I do drive it.

The next owner might do a lot worse than put miles on it. I DD my CLS 100 miles a day, doesn't seem to hurt it. I've got the suspension dialed in so it doesn't wear tires. My ML320 (winter car) has over 300,000 on it now. I eat off the good china too...

Good points. But I do have a longer term plan which involves me building an additional detached garage and buying a 911.

So, along with those good points, because of the miles, this would make a really great daily driver...it's not a 30,000 mile "trailer queen". And it's completely sorted out. It just needs nothing but to drive it. And today, I get to do just that.

It takes a lot of the misery out of commuting. I was grinning ear to ear the first two years, then the strength of the car saved my life. Now I get to grin some more!

So yeah, I drove it to work again today. I think I'm just going to hang on to it and drive it once or twice a week to work. I'll find another W124 to take the brunt of my miles. It's just too much car for the measly $12-13K it's actually worth to let it go. Besides that, it's totally sorted out and needs only to be driven...I can live with that!

after getting all the issues worked out and repaired, i really enjoy DD mine the past 4 months. Great to have the power to change lanes when needed in a hurry. No bites for me either. Guess i'm stuck with it.
