Fellas,

I was on my way back from cars and coffee the other day when i got the ol' CEL. The OBD pulled two codes. The first one,(P0356 – Ignition coil F, primary/secondary -circuit malfunction), seems pretty straight forward. Im assuming it just needs a new coil pack on cylinder 6.

The second code has me scratching my head; P0737 (TCM Engine Speed Output Circuit). From what i can gather the PCM is reading an incorrect engine output speed, which makes it difficult for the transmission to find shiftpoints.

The real kicker is the car runs and drives perfectly fine. It idles the slightest bit rough at stoplights but thats obviously from the ignition coil issues. I dont even know where to start with the second code though so if anyone has any experience with this, please chime in.

Search 722.9 conductor plate speed sensor issues

 

does anyone have the part number for the coolant expansion tank hose that runs from the expansion tank/reservoir to the radiator. The hose runs vertically out of the bottom of the expansion tank, maybe 1/2 - 3/4" in diameter.
