Side sunshades Where are they?
I can't seem to find where the side sunshades are available on the E55. Nothing on the MB website. My dealer couldn't tell me. Is it a dealer installed option? Please help out here.

Rumor is that the supplier can't keep up demand so MB isn't offering it. I was lucky and was able to get it. I was the first 2004 at my dealer so it may have been a left over 2003 part.
I think you can get it retrofitted but wouldn't want my dealer to take the doors apart.

Actually, it is now available again. It is a stand alone option and cost about $400. It was, for a short time, a delay availability option due to supply issues, but they have gotten that straighten out. Your dealer should have been able to let you know this info.!!

Thanks for the replies. My car was built on Wednesday, so its too late to add it factory. I wouldn't have any problem with my dealer installing it, but it probably isn't worth it at this point.
