Whose had an Arnott strut fail?
I believe I'm on the factory original struts on my 2003 with 67K miles and I'm kicking around the idea of replacing them as preventative maintenance. Wondering if it's worth it to pony up twice the price for factory originals or if the Arnotts have lasted a number of years for most.
Thanks!

As far as I know the only requirement for their warranty replacement is using an authorized arnotts source and being the original owner. I'd just buy a set if you really want them and just stash the recipes away for future use which i do not think you will need.
Most problems with airstruts are because of people lowering cars. Unlike a car with a coil spring, the only way to lower an airmatic car is to take air pressure out of the bag. This causes a loss of spring rate which is why you get that crap ride and also puts the shock piston into an area of the shock where they were not designed to sit and a Loss of damping characteristics and excessive wear are the result.
