Carbonio CF Airbox on E55 w/82mm TB?
I got a nice deal on a Carbonio CF intake setup, so I jumped on it. I have the 82mm TB on my car. Between my SC snout and the TB is a plate, that is between 3/8-1/2" thick. This additional material pushes the airbox rearward on the car making it impossible (I think) to line up the airbox with the filter housings without extensive modification. Has anyone worked around this?

Thanks to latemodel21 (Chris) for talking me off a ledge over this last night!

Pics below of where I'm at now. I can get it closer than that with some pressure but you get the idea. . .

Get rid of that plate and have a machine shop modify your snout by adding more material so that they can drill holes to accept the tb
