I log all the important values. Yes it helps but the biggest issue with timing here in California is our 91 octane

I need to get one of these. This installed in the engine bay? I also want to see how you did the pickup tube.

I am referring to what the OP and others were discussing, which I believe is a hose on the inside of the tank that is routed to the bottom to make sure the tank will not burp if it gets too low.

That's correct, a metal tube welded on the inside of the tank will be the best

Does anyone have a great way of making a low profile (flush) cabin filter?

I'd be happy to buy that scrap metal from you then for $40 shipped.

I have no pictures of the pickup I made. It's sloppy but it gets the job done. It's just a plastic tubing that I shoved inside the lower fitting from inside the tank and ran it to the back corner. I also installed some foam used for fuel cells in there since it was sloshing around and leaking out of the cap.

What have you guys done regarding the cabin filter? Everything I've seen is a bit of a hack.

Yeah I just put the screen with the sheet of paper filter over it. I drive it less than 2k a year though so not concerned but if it was a daily then I may have thought of something a little better.
