Post Track Time 12.167 at 117.62

Went to the track on Sunday. Stock tires with full air, traction control on, no burnout. Right out of the box 12.167 at 117.62. Next run was 12.201 at 116.91. My experience tells me that with street slicks, a burn out and tractional control off, I would be at 11.8. I have tried to attach a picture of the first time sheet but I am having trouble (file too big) any thoughts? In the mean time, here are the numbers:

60' 2.017 2.049
330' 5.284 5.300
1/8 7.952 7.969
MPH 92.16 92.02
1/4 12.167 12.201
MPH 117.62 116.91

Regards

Amazing mph. Your car is making a ****load of power. 117mph is just stunning. Your ET is still great too, but you could benefit from a better 60' time.

Don't bother with street slicks, get yourself an extra set of rear wheels, stick on some of the new 18" BFG gforce drag radials, and you will be well into the 11s.

I have seen Renntech'd 55's not live up to expectations in the past, but apparently this time it's not the case. 117mph is just sick for an e-class sedan.

Wow, 12.1 out of the box.

Impressive.

What was the air temp? How many miles do you have on the car?

All info points to the car being faster with TC on. It will be interesting to see how you do with it off.

11.8's with no mods will have to win you an award or two around here and make a couple of people with tweaked ECU's pulleys and airboxes take notice.

I am sorry, I did not mean to mislead anyone. I did the moderate pulley and ecu modification from Renntech. I did not take any weight out of the car including a full tank of gas. Temp was 50 degrees.
I will do a run in about a month with 1/3 fuel, empty car (i.e. mats and gear, etc.) and Sticky Tires (no traction control). I am hoping for an honest 11.8. I have seen some the claimed 11.4 times posted but I just don't believe them and have not seen an actual time slip. Bone stock my car (and most e55s) have consistent times of 12.6 to 12.8 at the drag strip (not those gravity devices).

Great times. Email me through the board and I will post the timeslip for you.
I haven't had the opportunity to get back to the drags yet, but even with 25 degree warmer conditions in Aust., I am confident of breaking into 11's without drag radials.
