Intermittent shudder & CEL?

Morning all- a few weeks back I noticed upon startup my e55 felt like it was shaking upon idle. After a few minutes running it disappeared.

Yesterday upon startup I felt it again, and then noticed a check engine light. Could feel car shaking at idle at a stoplight and a bit hesitant upon starting, then smoothed out.

After shutting the car down, and turning it on again about an hour later the shutter was gone, but check engine light still remained.

I'm going to have the check engine light checked shortly but was just curious if anyone had any similar issues.

Bone stock 05 e55.

When my motor mounts were bad my car shook a little on start up, then it would settle out. Never through a CEL but you should check your mounts. GL

I've got error code P0306 which is a cylinder misfire on #6.

Damnit!

Giess I'll start with wires & plugs & see where that gets me!

According to my records the previous owner had the plugs replaced st 63,900. I'm currently at 84,000.

No way they've gone bad that quick. I'm going to hope he wires are the culprit.
