Painted W210 Grill
Has anyone painted the front chromed grill on a W210 E55. I have an obsidian black car and was thinking that the car might look good with the frint grill painted the same.
Anyone done this and have pics?

Any good shop can paint/color match it for you. It needs to be scuff sanded, primered, and painted - not very difficult. Just make sure you take the grill apart and only have the chrome part painted (no need to paint the black plastic part, and it looks nicer anyway with the contrast between the two blacks)

It's not black, but I like it. Gotta prep REAL good, but I've had it on the '55 since 10/13/03.
I bought a new chrome stock one for LONG hiway runs, because you can get chips just like threst of the front end.
