Is your warranty on your w211 e55 gone after the upgrade?

My boost kit was done through the dealership by Autowerks Direct in San Diego. So I assume no warranty issues whatsoever. This dealership actually showcase in their showroom, heavily modified cars (brand new) custom built by Autowerks Direct.

The dealer's service department actually did the physical installation of the pulley - Autowerks Direct supplied all the parts and programmed the ECU.

Autowerks Direct also offers the RENNTech Warranty protection for the life of the factory warranty, should anything fail and there's a problem with the dealer giving warranty (got it on paper).

I think the thought is that the dealers will not be able to tell if they are not specifically looking.

From what I heard, Renntech uses genuine MB parts so tellin if you switched out the pulley or what not is hard to tell. Anyone else heard this?

The rentech pulley sent to me was identical to the stock MB one with all the same markings and writing. Except for the size of course.

saber- what was the size of the replacement pulley?

saber- what was the size of the replacement pulley? i think renntech takes a stock pulley and just adds to the diameter. this keeps the old markings.
