Tranny TCU firmware upgrade available should I do it?
Anyone has experience with tranny software upgrade currently HW version: 03 2001
SW Version: 44.2002
Heard bad and good dealer says need plug into Star for seeing if any update available I'm just worried if this is a good idea

Out Of Control!!
If you girlfriend is suggesting a TCU firmware update---take her fishing, however if you are asking the question--then you are correct when the dealer hooks up his diagnostic tool, within the process, he will be advised that an update is available---if there is no advice then there is no update available-----typically when a factory update is available it is advisable to update.
However if this is some Norwegian tuner providing the advice,treat that advice like your girlfriends!!
