E55 or E500 wagon
Here in Australia, MB has just announced the launch of wagon versions of the E55 and E500. Our Volvo V70T5 is ready for changeover, and this is indeed good news. Until now, wagons here came no bigger then E320.
My wife is the main driver, but I would also use the car on weekends etc. (I have a C32 as a daily driver.) Any thoughts as to which wagon to go for? I've driven the E55 sedan and liked it a lot, but haven't tried the E500. Would you go the extra, or is the E55 too much for a family wagon?

Yes, you are probably right. Unlikely to get to drive a wagon before ordering however as first cars arrive mid year and likely will be pre-sold (as usual with new models).

If Your Wife drives a V70t5..She WILL Love the E55 Estate!
The Volvo Rides Firm so the ride wont be a Problem
The E55 is The Perfect Wagon..Lots of Room for the Kids and The Power to Have Fun and Play with Porsches and Bmws
I Tried To Import a E55 Estate But With it a Gray market car..
No Help from Mercedes.. Warranty..What Warranty! And Insurance is Tough..
Im In The Biz and The Underwriters said if its NOT in the Blue Book...They WONT touch it
Good Luck with Your Wagon!
I Think The E55 Will Be Perfect!
