S/C Hiccup...

Guys,
Is the probability of s/c hiccup (and severity of the hiccup) less if you ran a bigger crank pulley with the stock s/c pulley?

I seem to remember reading that was the case, and it makes sense since that particular hiccup or whatever you want to call it comes from clutch engagement, the smaller SC pulleys will naturally 'hit harder'. It's like the two ends of bicycle gears, one makes a bigger impact than the other.

My $0.02 contribution - run a fixed pulley . I have no more annoying clutch engagement (even at it's smoothest, I KNEW it was there haha). IATs are really only a concern at idle in hot weather, but once you're moving it's a non-issue. I love having instant torque!
